THE VISION
Corfe Candles is a family run company, underpinned by over 18 years of candle-making experience. We are innovative, creative and passionate about what we do. Daring to experiment and take risks, Corfe Candles forges the way with new ideas and discoveries, providing new and challenging products that combine pure aromatherapy and holistic therapies whilst defending our environment.
Our products are luxurious and each style and type has been tested and developed. By the nature of every candle being handmade it will possess its own originality and individuality – no two are alike.
Corfe Candles is environmentally responsible and constantly researches creative ways to manufacture and package its products with minimal environmental impact. Wherever possible we use pure soy wax. We do not use wood from endangered forests to create our packaging or promotional literature. Instead we source it from companies that provide the pulp from tree farms that are grown specifically for the paper industry. Where possible we now strive to source all our products.
Unlike many of our competitors, our commitment is not just to offer a natural product that appeals to the emotions of our potential customers. We are also committed to creating a range that can provide positive results and that will be a pure pleasure to use. We want our products to excite our customers. As members of the Soil Association we are able to use certified organic essential oils in our products to bring you holistic benefits and properties to our natural products.
All our candles are designed in-house, and hand-made by us here in Dorset using the finest quality ingredients sourced from long-established, specialist providers. Each candle can take up to 36 hours to produce, making them exclusive and unique. New products can take many months of careful preparation of wax blending and extensive testing before finalising the recipes and achieving the finished look our products.
Our fabulous fragrances are not the cheapest, that’s why they are so accurate, they are carefully selected from suppliers or we blend them ourselves. And choosing to work with hand-poured molten wax preparations, ensure that every part of the wax is fragranced.
Every candle is subject to intense scrutiny to ensure it ‘makes the grade’ before being trimmed, tagged and sent on its way!
