Biography
  



Astrid qualified with the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a Private and Executive Secretary and in 1990 was one of the finalists of the Top PA of the Year Competition. She is now a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Administrators.



In the 1980`s and early 90`s she began her career as a Conference Organiser at the prestigious Bournemouth International Centre and organised several of the Labour Party Conferences, Conservative Party Conferences and Liberal Democrat Party Conferences, to name but a few.



She then moved to a language school, working in Los Angeles, New York and Boston as well as the UK.



After taking a number of years out to raise a family she founded Corfe Candles in 2005 and hasn`t looked back since.

As well as her love of candles, Astrid is a keen amateur photographer, jewellery maker and animal lover. She has built all her own websites and in 2008 gained certification to manufacturer her own cosmetic range.
